Lamar Odom may no longer needs a new kidney and Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband is on a road to miraculous recovery.

According to TMZ, the former two-time Lakers champ was reportedly in need of a new kidney after having issues with his own life-threatening issues. Now, Odom is going through rigorous physical therapy to help him regain function and has been coherent enough to help make the right decision.

Well, that may explain why Odom's father, Joe Odom may have been turned away from the athletes hospital bed.

TMZ is reporting that the NBA player didn't want to see his father and it's known that he never had a decent relationship with his father who was also wrapped up with past drug issues. The NBA star was raised by his mother who later passed when he was 12 and left in his grandmother's custody throughout his childhood and teenage years.

According to TMZ, their camera guy caught the frustrated older Odom walking out of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. who says, "I'm upset because this is the second time I came to see my son and they won't let me see my son. It's a lot of sabotage things going on." He added, "They won't let me see my son like I'm a villain or something. They saying I'm not on the visitor's list. I called boulevard management, [Lamar's] organization and they told me I was on the visitor list today." He said they made him believe that his son didn't want any visitors, "They shut it down, he didn't want to have no visitors and stuff like that. They let other people see my son that is not even related to him."

Yikes, is Lamar beefing with his father?
