Now that Halloween is done and over with, we can all get back to being politically correct, right? Well, if you were to ask comedian Bill Maher, it seems that we never stopped being PC – even on Halloween. On Friday night's episode of Real Time, Maher attacked the "lazy liberalism" that appears to be going on in the country, nothing that we've all become a little too sensitive as of late, and that could very well be the reason people are leaving to go vote Republican. Of course, the outrage over that whole Caitlyn Jenner costume thing didn't help either.

Maher ended his HBO episode with the typical New Rules closer. The final rule, which tends to be the one in which he gives a lengthy dialogue about something the country needs to either take notice of or, most of the time, fix, detailed the incessant issue of political correctness in the Unites States. This time, it surrounded Halloween costumes.

"Lately we have taken a day of getting off on pretending to be bad and turned it into a whole season of getting off on pretending to be good," Maher said. "The Internet and magazines are littered with articles scolding people," he continued, specifying lists that take down "offensive" Halloween costume ideas.

Interestingly enough, Maher took down his friends at The Huffington Post for their These Offensive Halloween Costumers Are Frighteningly Ignorant post that as written earlier this month. The list included anything from a Mariachi player to a Mexican Sombrero costume to a sexy Geisha. No matter what the costume might have been, Maher claimed that the outrage over them is merely ridiculous.

So, thoughts?
