The CW Network is planning another DC Comics Crossover on Arrow Season 4. Before the upcoming Episode 5, this is the perfect opportunity to check up on John Constantine (Matt Ryan) as he arrives to make Oliver Queen aka The Green Arrow (Stephen Amell)'s life a living hell.

As we previously mentioned, Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) has been resurrected from the dead after being dropped into the Lazarus Pit. No one is really sure what woke up and came out of the pit itself. Now known as the Green Arrow to Star City, Ollie (Amel) has to make to call a mysterious figure, John Constantine (Ryan), and ask for his mystical help.

Here are five reasons why we're excited for the Constantine/Arrow Crossover here.

5) He Is John Constantine

Faithful to the Hellblazer comics, Ryan embodies the troubled anti-hero as he's dressed in his trademark white dress shirt, trench coat, and smoking a cigarette. He had the right attitude and scruffy look that humorous artists had captured in the pages. And the best part is, Constantine isn't big on friends and Arrow can't stand the guy. The best drama is always conflict.

4) What Could Have Been

As we previously mentioned, NBC put a halt to production on the new freshmen drama before the series could find its audience. New viewers and comic book fans had to settle with the initial 13-episode order. Though we're not going to get any answers from the mid-season cliffhanger, it's the prefect opportunity to see Matt Ryan in action and see what audiences were missing.

3) Stephen Amell Really Wanted This To Happen

As we mentioned before, Amell wanted his superhero character to show on the NBC drama, Amell said, "I know the logistics are challenging and the politics are above my pay grade, but in the interest of putting the best product forth for the fans, I don't think we should limit ourselves to Flash and Arrow crossing over because we're both on the CW. If you're owned by Warner Bros., or if you're just in the DC Universe, everything should be in play."

2) The Dark Side Of DC Comics

In the comics, John Constantine is a crafty troublemaker in the war between Heaven and Hell. In the Dangerous Habits arc, Constantine pretends to see his soul to the Devil, in order to cure himself of cancer. The double-cross nearly came with the end of the world. Let's just say the Green Arrow and Constantine aren't going to be the best of pals.

1) Legends of Tomorrow?

I really hope Matt Ryan comes back as John Constantine. It would be nice to see Constantine butt heads with Grant Gustin on The Flash. Science vs Mysticism! There is so much the writers can do with the character and it would be a shame if they didn't continue with him.

Arrow continues Thursdays on the CW at 8pm.

Readers, are you excited to see John Constantine on the show?
