Robert Pattinson New Movie Crush, 'Queen of the Desert' Love: 'Not Just A Pretty Face'

Robert Pattinson's outstanding performance in "Queen of the Desert" very much impressed renowned German movie producer, Werner Herzog. Before filming, Herzog didn't fully grasp Pattinson's robust "Twilight" fame:

“I only realized that wherever I showed up in Morocco there were screeching teenies,” Herzog joked during a recent extensive interview with The Daily Beast. “Pattinson is a very, very smart, very well-educated and intelligent young man. When he says things in the film, they’re always credible. You see you don’t just have a pretty face. It was a pleasure to have him around. A good comrade, as well..."

Praise for the 29-year-old British heartthrob continues growing! But where does that leave his blossoming romance with FKA Twigs, now that he can't provide her with as much love and attention?

Pattinson's latest film will finally make its American debut during November's AFI Fest this week in Los Angeles. The epic biological drama chronicles the exciting life of Gertrude Bell - a British explorer, traveller, archaeologist, and political officer. The movie (which initially premiered in February 2015) also stars Nicole Kidman, James Franco, Damian Lewis, plus a slew of other big-name celebrities. R-Patz portrays famed diplomat T.E. Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia. 

The "Life" actor was also just cast in Claire Denis' highly-anticipated upcoming thriller "High Life" (alongside Mia Goth and Patricia Arquette).

Still, most Twitter fans hope this rejuvenated fame won't hurt or jeopardize his relationship (and future marriage) with 27-year-old Twigs:
