It's been 7 years since rock-star, Travis Barker was involved in a deadly plane crash, that took the lives of 2 of his best friends, and 2 pilots. On Wednesday, Barker sat down for a tell all interview on The Real and revealed that he predicted the 2008 crash before it happened.

"I hated flying," Barker admitted. "From the first flight I ever took I was with my mom, and I was telling my manager at the time, 'I'm going to die in a plane crash.'"

Barker claimed that he had all of these weird feelings before his crash. The drummer said that he and DJ AM were coming home from a party in South Carolina when the crash happened. "It was a last minute flight. We booked it and were suppose to go home the next day we all agreed, me my two best friends and Adam that we were all going to go home that night. We went to the airport and everything felt wrong," Barker admitted.

The father of two revealed that he called his father before he boarded the flight and said, "This plane is really small, I have a horrible feeling if anything happens make sure my kids are OK."

Just 30 minutes later, Barker's family was notified that he was in a crash and was headed to the hospital in critical condition. Barker was sent to a burn center in Georgia where he had to recover from his burns.

The crash was caused by the landing gear popping. Barker revealed that he tried to rescue people while he was on fire. DJ AM was the only person that wasn't on fire and also survived the crash.

Just one year later, the DJ, whose real name was Adam Michael Goldstein died from an apparent drug overdose in his New York City apartment.

MStars News is glad that Barker is a strong survivor. The musician has released a book talking about his journey and life after surviving one of his biggest fears. Barker's book titled, "Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums" is avaliable in stores and online now.
