Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson 'Iconic' Together: 'Twilight' Co-Star Erik Odom Praises Couple's Chemistry While Break Up Rumors Swirl

Despite rumors that Kristen Stewart is constantly "flirting and partying" with other guys to make Robert Pattinson jealous while he continues to ignore her needs while off filming "The Rover" in Australia, it looks like the "Twilight" lovebirds are doing just fine! According to "Twilight" co-star Erik Odom, the couple's onscreen as well as off-screen romance is so iconic, it's hard not to acknowledge their instant chemistry and connection. Odom goes on to describe the duo as so "down to earth," and K-Stew as an "intelligent woman who has such a positively strong voice on set." It's nice to see the popular gossip site Hollywood Life reporting on some HAPPY K-Stew and R-Patz relationship news for a change!

In a recent interview with The Oakland Press, Odom (who plays vampire Peter in "Breaking Dawn - Part 2") claims that the casting decisions for "Twilight" were perfect - mostly due to the influence of Stewart and Pattinson. "The filmmakers really got it right with Kristen and Rob. There's been such an overlap of how iconic the characters are, but also how iconic Kristen and Rob are."

Odom continues, "When [they got] together, it became bigger than anyone could have imagined," he also says. Erik should know - he's spent a lot of time with the couple: "It was sweet to watch them together on set!"

How sweet!

Odom doesn't only laud 22-year-old Stewart and 26-year-old Pattinson as an awesome couple, but they're pretty cool people as individuals, too. On the inside and the outside:

"I was surprised at how down to earth they were. Kristen's just so intelligent... I wouldn't be surprised to see, as she gets older, her transitioning into her own films because she has such a strong voice on set."

That's a nice change of pace from the shady rumors typically spread by the gossip gurus over at Hollywood Life. K-Stew flirting with guy friend CJ Romero, R-Patz ignoring his girlfriend and not offering her any support, the couple only staying together to boost "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" DVD sales...
