NBA Star Iman Shumpert Proposed to Singer Teyana Taylor at Baby Shower With Ruby Ring [PHOTO]

NBA star Iman Shumpert popped the question and proposed to his baby mama singer, Teyana Taylor, during their baby shower in Cleveland, Ohio at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday. The "Google Me" vocalist showed off the ruby ring with a gold band surrounded by diamonds and took to Instagram to say, "I am his Ruby Woo." She then added about the Cleveland Cavaliers player, "I'm still speechless. I love you baby."

Taylor seems grateful for this relationship and wrote, "Thank You @imanshumpert for putting the color back in my life! I love you so much."  The couple is expecting their first child in January and announced it's a girl.  They plan to name her Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr.

According to Page Six, the proud NBA dad to be wrote on Facebook, "When a man loves a woman how she was born to be loved...procreation is the best blessing you can receive!  I couldn't be more happy than to share my first child with the woman I intended to have my family with."

According to People, the 24 year old Harlemite copied the love sick lyrics by NBA's Shannon Brown's wife and singer, Monica, "Before your love baby I was muddy. So deep with the pain till you took it from me/ You showered me with a new beginning. Now I'm clean/ Took me by surprise when you ran up on me, I came to life baby in that moment/ You put your hands on my heart and now it beats."

Last year, the pregnant singer was rumored to be linked to NFL player Ray Rice and Black America Web published LHHNY's star, Joe Budden's, tweets when he chimed in about the alleged romance, "It may be hearsay, but if the beef between Ray Rice and his wife was over the woman that some are saying?!?! Then sh*t ... smh. If ya'll know who I'm referring to, then that sh*t is crazy to me." Well Joe, she says it ain't so, but cheers to MAC for what seems to be a free advertisement to Ruby Woo lipstick!
