Bollywood Star Priyanka Chopra Wraps 'Quantico;' Heads to India to Finish 'Bajirao Mastani'

The Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has won a tons of accolades and appreciations for her debut in ABC's thriller series, Quantico, has now wrapped up the shooting of the Season 1. Chopra has been bouncing from the USA to India over the past six months to shoot the upcoming period drama film, Bajirao Mastani, and Quantico. According to KoiMoi, Chopra has now finally wrapped the shoot of Quantico and will soon be in India to join the cast of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, Bajirao Mastani.

Chopra posted a picture on her Instagram account and captained it, "The funniest cake by @QuanticoTV production! Will miss u Stephenkay..@realpiperperaabo sending him over!! Such a loss to us!"

In Quantico, Chopra is seen as FBI student Alex Parrish, who is associated with a terrorist assault in the thriller drama. On the other hand, she will be seen as Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai, in Bajirao Mastani ʼalongside Ranveer Singh and Deepkia Padukone. After completing the shoot of ABC's Quantico and Bajirao Mastani's promotion, Chopra will then start shooting for the Indian filmmaker Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal. Meanwhile, the 33-years-old Indian star will also give voice to an elephant for PETA. According to Just Jared, Chopra is going to use her voice to ask the different organisations to stop using elephants in the circus. Chopra, who recently earned her first-ever People's Choice nomination for her role in Quantico is going to lend her voice to the life-sized robot elephant name Ellie, who will be touring around the U.S., Europe and India.

"Elephants are truly magnificent creatures, who desperately need our help and protection. Ellie and I are teaching kids that elephants belong in the wild with their families and that they suffer greatly in captivity, in which they're kept chained, forced to learn tricks, and deprived of all the things that make them happy, like family and freedom," Priyanka said in a statement. "I couldn't be more proud to join PETA in bringing Ellie's story to life for children everywhere, with the hope of instilling the idea of compassion and kindness for living creatures of all kinds."
