Usually a beacon of positivity and encouragement, Project Runway co-host Tim Gunn has a lot of complaints as of late. Fresh off another season of the hit Lifetime reality show, fashion's favorite mentor took to the press to explain his thoughts on Kanye West's clothing line, the 14th season of his show, and why he's not Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Asked for his thoughts on Kanye's Yeezy collection during an interview with HuffPost Live, Gunn let out an emphatic sigh and responded, "I'm reminded of the words of a very dear friend of mine, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Grace Mirabella: 'I think they're a bunch of dumb clothes.' Just basic pieces."

Gunn went on to put the whole Kardashian clan on blast, summing up their entire existence with one huge "Why?"

"When it comes to fashion," Gunn said to HuffPost Live, "I tell people all the time if you want guidance for your fashion just consider this: if a Kardashian is wearing it, dont."

He went on to explain his belief that the Kardashians' "vulgar" projection of beauty standards sets an unrealistic precedent for everyday women. Asked what he thinks of the younger members of the tribe, he expressed doubt about their ingenuity, calling out the family's "tainted" publicity machine and "aura of yuck."

Another surprising target of Gunn's this week was his own show, Project Runway. After the victory announcement of plus-size designer Ashley Nell Tipton this past Thursday (Nov. 12), Gunn had some stern words for the cast of the 14th season.

"I hated season 14,” he said to Entertainment Weekly. “I hated it. I felt that other than a couple of designers, they weren’t working up to their potential. The whole thing was lackluster.”

Despite the criticism, Tipton said in an interview with The Wrap that she doesn't believe Gunn's statements were directed at her.
