If you tuned in for Donald Trump's oh-so-anticipated (and oh-so-protested) episode of Saturday Night Live over the weekend then you undoubtedly saw Larry David's infamous Bernie Sanders impression. Of course, as great as it was, it wasn't the only laugh the Curb Your Enthusiasm star brought to NBC. During Trump's monologue, David called the billionaire GOP candidate a racist and admitted that he was offered $5,000 for doing so.

And believe it or not, he might not have been kidding...

"You're a racist!" David shouted from off camera. After asking the comedian what he was doing, Trump was met with the realization that the Seinfeld creator heard that if he yelled some accusations of racism at Trump during the show, "they'd give me $5,000."

Of course, it was something that Trump could truly respect. You know, "as a businessman."

Vice is reporting that David was offered the money by DeportRacism.com's Luke Montgomery.

"Larry David just became $5,000 richer," he said, adding, "The victory here is that someone called Trump a racist on live television, and that gets the message out there and gets people thinking."

Montgomery's beef with Trump has been rather documented for a little bit, as he was reportedly behind the viral video of children calling Trump a "racist f*ck." The video can be seen at DeportRacism.com.

Sadly, we're not so sure how much it actually got people thinking. Then again, given the immense amount of protesters that stood outside Rockefeller Center before, during and after the episode, perhaps word did indeed spread.

Regardless of the protestors, it appears that Saturday Night Live was a win for both Trump and the network.
