The Smithsonian has accepted a donation from the minds behind AMC's Breaking Bad. Several pieces of memorabilia were donated on Tuesday. And wouldn't you guess, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were there to honor their hit show.

It's crazy to believe that the story of Walter White ended its amazing run on AMC back in 2013. The grieving period has been difficult for those who gathered around their televisions for years to see what sort of meth-and-death based quandaries both White and Jesse Pinkman would find themselves in. Well, on Tuesday, the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History decided to keep the dream alive.

Friday's never looked so good. #BreakingBad

BuzzFeed reports that not only were Cranston and Paul in Washington D.C. to watch the show go down as one of the best in history – honestly, it's not every day that the Smithsonian accepts such memorabilia – but creator Vince Gilligan took some time away from Better Call Saul to show up and speak about the honor and what would undoubtedly be his legacy.

So, what was donated? Per the Smithsonian's site, the museum accepted the signature hat worn by White, who went as "Heisenberg" on the streets, cups from Los Pollos Hermanos, that famed Heisenberg sketch, two yellow cook suits the actors wore during the cooking scenes and, of course, some blue meth.

The site notes that there aren't an plans to display the props as of yet; however, they add, "an exhibition exploring American culture is in development and will draw on the museum's theater, music, sports and entertainment collections." That exhibit will not open until sometime in 2018.

So, until then, say his name...
