Earth's Mightiest Heroes have assembled once more in LEGO Marvel's Avengers videogame. Re-imagined as brick-sized mini-figures, Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and more playable characters are making their arrival before their official release date.

As we perviously mentioned, around 155 characters were featured in the original game, Lego Marvel Super Heroes. In the Super heroes game, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and Spider-Man were all part of the videogame fun. We could at least expect to see at number,or maybe even double in this sequel. With content from both Avengers films included, gamers will get chance to play as Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, The Vision and Ultron himself.

The gameplay trailer features a major action sequence from Joss Whedon's live-action movie. As the Avengers, you have to save New York from Loki and his extraterrestrial army. In a funny scene, the Incredible Hulk takes a selfie just as he is about to beat up the bad guys. Previous playable characters include Sam Wilson's Captain America and The Stan-buster, which has creator Stan Lee's trademark mustache on the helmet, and his over-sized glasses.

According to Forbes, more details from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have been released about the upcoming characters and game-play. From the Marvel universe, the screenshots reveal heroes and villains, such as Agent Carter, Fin Fang Foom, Crimson Dynamo, Mantis, Crossbones, and Skaar.

There could be about 250 unlockable characters drawn from the Marvel Cinematic Universe including The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
