No good deed goes unnoticed as the House of Windsor's Prince Harry is moving full speed ahead with helping wounded veterans in what he expects will assist them "move beyond being defined by your injury," he said Wednesday night at a reception at St. James's Palace in London, marking the third anniversary of his organization, Endeavour's Fund, according to People.

A 30-year old amputee and former Irish Guardsman, Paddy Gallagher, and three others with similar injuries, have formed a crew and will row across the Atlantic next month. Previously, Gallagher was part of a team who participated in the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, sponsored by the Row2Recovery charity. The challenge captured the attention of the Prince, who hopes to inspire and motivate others to join in on the adventures.

On Dec.15, Paddy and his team mates and he will spend 60 days crossing from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean. He said jokingly, "I'm sure there are easier ways to get to Antigua for your holidays," followed by "Usually you may say 'I cant do that I've got my leg missing.' But after you come back from sailing or doing something as silly as rowing an ocean you'll be more confident." He added, "If I can get through that, the chances are I can walk down the shops for a pint of milk! It gives you confidence in yourself as a person and generally reintegrating, and feel normal about yourself."

Fortunately, UK's Army Officer prince is not an amateur when it comes to helping the injured overcome adversity. He has recently traveled abroad to promote another paralympic sports challenge called Invictus Games and has inspired a former Royal Marine, J.J. Chalmers, who won gold in the recumbent cycling competition and hopes to compete in next years games in Orlando, Florida. Chalmers says, "It was the best week of my life. I knew right there and then that it had a future because of the energy around it," And says, "Until I did sport again I realized what a massive chunk of me was missing. It's having an adventurous life, being in a team, pushing yourself to your limits. Invictus has done that for me."

Prince Charming's mother, the late Princess Diana, was an advocate of banning and clearing landmines, which the UK continued to do, in honor of the Princess of Wales' legacy. It seems her youngest heir has taken up her cause in a creative way. Way to go Prince! He's a chip after the old block, you could say!
