In one shocking upset, UFC champ Ronda Rousey lost to Holly Holm after a brutal kick to the head during the UFC 193 fight on Saturday evening. It's reportedly the first loss of Rousey's career in MMA, but, it was also predicted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Strangely enough, it wasn't Holm who predicted it – it was Rousey herself.

When being asked about her opponent during a panel appearance on The Tonight Show, Rousey admitted to the former Saturday Night Live star that Holm was going to be a difficult opponent, and a much longer fight than some of her past matches.

"She's a 19-time boxing world champion," Rousey told Fallon, "with a 100% takedown defense and head-kick knockouts." Rousey further called Holm an "amazing athlete" alongside being the champ's biggest threat––especially on paper.

Rousey then acknowledged that she felt a fight with Holm was one that couldn't be done quickly; she would have to be patient and take her time. "She's going to be trying to keep distance and keep far away from me and keep me frustrated to the point where I'll make a mistake and she can try and kick me in the head."

Which is pretty much what happened.

Of course, Rousey told Fallon and his crowd that it was "not going to go like that."

But it did.

Take a look at the "prediction" – which really isn't one – below:

Here are the highlights from the match:
