Apparently Rihanna's single again, because rumored (ex) boyfriend Travis Scott was a bit too needy!

The infamous Barbadian BadGal remains focused on the highly-anticipated upcoming release of her new album, Anti. Therefore she had to remove any annoying distractions from her life - including the Rodeo emcee!

"He wanted her every second of the day and even wanted her to travel with him for his show," an alleged insider tells the popular hip-hop webloid Urban Islandz. "While all the need for her attention is flattering it eventually became too much for her to handle. He is just too needy so she broke things off with him."

The two were never officially dating, although the "BBHMM" superstar seemed to enjoy a hot-and-steamy summer fling with the 23-year-old Houston rapper.

But while RiRi preferred a "no strings attached" relationship, Scott got way too possessive. So she had to immediately cut ties.

The 27-year-old pop sensation still doesn't feel that the record's ready, but new tunes should hit airwaves sometime before the New Year.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown's ex apparently still has a "thing" for her "Love The Way You Lie" collaborator, Eminem:

"He's one of my favorite people... He's got so many layers and he's such a good person-focused, disciplined. I mean you can't tell me that you have to be in the club when Eminem is legit at home and being a good father and is still one of the most prestigious rappers of our generation. He's one of the most talented poets of our time" (via Vanity Fair).

Would THEY make a cute power couple?
