Voice judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani recently confirmed they are dating, but Shelton went a step further and called out Stefani in a "booty call" reference during the show. She appeared shocked and a little embarrassed.

The Voice contestant Amy Vachal had just performed an acoustic version of Drake's "Hotline Bling" song when Shelton shocked fellow judges and his new girlfriend with his comments.

The country crooner, who was recently hailed as a hero, told Vachal, "I don't think there's ever been a more elegant and classy performance of a song about a booty call in the history of music.

"I mean that was like, unbelievable. I hear that song on the radio every day. That song's so big even I have heard it."

The 39-year-old then added, "Gwen sang it to me on the Tonight Show one night, so..."

Stefani, 46, appeared to be surprised and a little flustered by her boyfriend's comments, even appearing to blush.

Fellow coaches Adam Levin and Pharrell Williams laughed at the awkwardness as the audience went crazy.

Williams said between giggles, "Okay, this is your moment...Wow".

Shelton appeared to want to make his relationship with Stefani official on television. Audience members couldn't help but let out a few 'awww's' over the cute moment.

Stefani tried to bring the attention back to Vachal, saying, "Definitely better than the version we did on Fallon, for sure, 100 percent".

Shelton and Stefani confirmed their relationship just hours before the Country Music Association Awards earlier this month.

Earlier on the show, the coaches took to the stage and Stefani was shown running into Shelton's arms for a hug.
