USA's 'Donny!' S01E02: 'Foxy at Fifty!' Donny Deutsch, Christie Brinkley, Emily Tarver Recap!

USA Network continues Season 1 of their new comedy, Donny!  In Episode 2, Foxy at Fifty!, creator and star Donny Deutsch (Donny himself) needs help from his producer Pam (Emily Tarver) when he has a date with Christie Brinkley herself.

On his talk show, Donny meets with a group of women, who claim to be at their prime at 50 years old. Donny supports them, stating women are attractive even at the age of 50 and should feel good about themselves. Pam shakes her head, knowing Donny just lied to the cameras and doesn't believe a thing he's saying.   

With his Russian mistress, Donny's role-playing games is starting to turn her off. Knowing their relationship should take a pause, the Russian mistress thinks Donny should at least think about dating someone his own age. After getting advice from Pam and her tech assistant, Donny then asks Zoe (Meera Kumbhani), Jackie (Hailey Giles), and Violet (Jessica Renee Russell) to find him an attractive woman, around his age, to date. 

The list of women starts to dwindle down after Pam Grier and Paget Brewster reject Donny's advances. After his assistants set him on a date with Christie Brinkley, Donny gives her the seductive tour of his place. Thinking he will impress her with his closet space, pictures of his children, and his dogs, Christie isn't turned on by any of it. She bursts out laughing after Donny strips down naked and pulls down his pants.  

Donny meets with his trainer and tells him his problem. The trainer is weirded out when Donny asks him to pull down his underwear. Donny wants to see what his trainer's private area looks like when it's groomed and trimmed. In the bathroom, Donny ends up accidentally shaving off too much. 

After shaving his private area, Donny finds himself in bed with Christie. But in the sack, Christie calls the shots and dominates their role-playing. As their sex drive gets rougher and their dates become more romantic, Donny ends up professing his love to Christie Brinkley live on television. 

Christie Brinkley shows up at Donny's place to break up with him. Zoe, Jackie, and Violet overhear her turning him down. As soon as she leaves, the assistants make a call to the mistress. During the night, Donny makes a call to Pam, who just had sex with her tech assistant. 

Getting back with his Russian mistress, Donny returns to role-playing but she's turned off by his shaved crotch. The morale of the lesson: Donny cannot win.
