NeNe Leakes Slams Ladies of 'The View': Broadway Stars Calls Them "Mean Girls"

It looks like NeNe Leakes had a taste of her own medicine when she appeared on The View earlier this week. According to US Weekly the Broadway star slammed the ladies of the talk show, calling them "mean girls."

Tuesday, Nov. 17, Leakes joined Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Candace Cameron Bure, Michelle Collins, Paula Faris and Raven-Symoné on the panel to talk about her upcoming Broadway gig as Mama Morton in Chicago. After her hour with the women, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Twitter to vent and tweeted:

“Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong.”

You could tell it was some tension between Leakes and Behar, especially when Leakes talked about leaving the RHOA. Leakes claimed that she decided to make her exit after Season 7 because she felt ganged up on. Behar interrupted Leakes and questioned her about that as if she was the bully. As she finished explaining herself, Leakes said: "Well I felt like season 7 was really hard... I felt like there were times that I was really ganged up on." She continued, "It's not cool. It's not fair for everybody to come at you at once, for everybody to try to make you appear you're something that you're not."

When asked if she would return to the show, Leakes said, "Maybe, maybe not. The Housewives has been very good to me. It has been amazing and it has opened up many doors for me. As you can see... lots of girls would like to imitate the Nene Leakes brand, you know what I mean."

Behar then clapped in throwing major shade when she said, "She's very humble, isn't she? I see why you like Donald Trump." Leakes clapped back and responded, "I didn't say I was voting for him hunni, I said I liked him."

Behar also wanted to know why did Leakes get married to her husband, Gregg, for a second time after divorcing him. Leakes claimed that she had to teach her man a lesson. Behar didn't seemed to be moved by her decision.

Things only got worse when Leakes decided to show off her new mansion. The Chicago star was asked where her furniture was in the empty house. Leakes claimed that she was told not to show photos of her furniture on the show because of security measures.
