The CW network continues with Season 2 of The Flash. After the confrontation between Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd), Twitter had lots to say about Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and the shocking twist behind Gorilla Grodd.

In our previous recap, Barry thought he had Zoom figured out as he setup a trap using Linda Park (Malese Jow) as Doctor Light. Unfortunately, Zoom had the upper-hand and kidnapped Linda, leading to an intense battle between the two speedsters. In a crushing blow, Zoom landed a punch into the Flash's back and broke his spinal cord. When Barry woke up from his beatdown, the scarlet speedster realized he couldn't feel his legs.

In the recent recap, Barry need the help of his father, Henry Allen (John Wesley Shipp) to deal with his humiliating defeat. In order get him back on his feet, Barry needed to put on the red suit when Caitlin was kidnapped by Gorilla Grodd. With the help of Earth-2's Harrison Wells, who dressed up as Reverse-Flash, the Flash sent Gorilla Grodd through the speed cannon's portal, dropping in the middle of Gorilla City.

According to Screen Rant, "In the DC Comics continuity, Gorilla City is, as the show reveals, a large community of apes concealed deep in the jungles of Africa. You see, while Gorilla Grodd may have military research and a particle accelerator explosion to thank for his telepathy, the comics had a very, very different origin. Not only did his powers come from a meteorite/crashed alien spaceship, the hyper intelligence was bestowed upon multiple apes."

Check out what Twitter had to say:

@KehtaamuNgetal tweets, "They sent him to Gorilla City! In no way will that go well. It'll probably be awhile before we get to see the payoff though. #TheFlash"

@madmanweb writes, "Gorilla City on television. Wow, #TheFlash is really bringing it!"

@VisionInATux still cannot comprehend, "Never for a second would I have thought they'd actually do gorilla city in the flash. I mean GRODD himself is a blessing."

@estebantono adds, "Me *screaming*: THE FLASH EPISODE WAS SO GOOD I"M FREAKING OUT GORILLA CITY HOLY SH*T"

@missmissa85 mentions, "It just warms my heart to know that Gorilla City exists in a live-action universe. #TheFlash #GroddLives"

@tinfinities states, "for a few seconds, gorilla city was on my tv screen. god bless, @CW_TheFlash"

The Flash continues Season 2 on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm.
