Voice star Gwen Stefani has opened up about her divorce with Gavin Rossdale, while talking on The Tommy Show on 94.7 fresh FM on Wednesday. Stefani reveals she regrets the divorce, but admitted there were "so many bad things" in her their 20 years together.

The No Doubt lead is currently in a new romance with her The Voice co-star, Blake Shelton, after splitting from Rossdale over the summer.

The blonde beauty spoke on The Tommy Show and revealed that a "major event" a day after the Grammys inspired her new hit song "Used to Love You." There have been reports that Rossdale cheated on her with their nanny.

Rossdale and Stefani were married for almost 13 years before their divorce in August, but were together for 20 years.

Stefani hinted at issues in the marriage and told the radio host, “There’s so many bad things… Oh my god. I can’t even believe it, but at the same time there are lots of good things and I do get to have a second chance, and I have a lot of joy right now, I really do- I don’t even know you guys. I feel like if I go too far I’m gonna look like a crazy person talking to you about this stuff."

The "Hollaback Girl" singer went on to say, "I wish it didn’t happen, I wish that all of this wasn’t happening but at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey. In my life I’ve had two really bad heartbreaks and I’ve written some incredible music out of it and I feel so lucky to have that and to be able to share it. I feel like it’s part of what I contribute to the world and I feel really proud of that. There’s always good things that come out of bad things.”

Shelton and Stefani confirmed they were dating last month, recently showing PDA on The Voice.
