Tuesday night's TV lineup just got interesting. "American Idol" is starting its live viewer voting phase Tuesday night on Fox at 8pm ET with Zoanette Johnson and the 10 female finalists performing. Meanwhile, CBS has it's own powerhouse show in "NCIS: Los Angeles" at 9 ET. The wild-card for Tuesday night's television this week may be CBS's new hit show "Golden Boy" airing at 10pm ET.
So which do you watch? Well, many people probably already have their favorite. "American Idol" is sure to gain a lot of viewers now that they are down to 20 semifinalists, with 10 performing tonight, 10 more tomorrow night, and the results being announced Thursday night. Get ready "American Idol" fans because you have a busy week ahead.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" has an enormous fan base who keep coming back for more every week. Meanwhile, "Golden Boy" is a new show, but debuted with strong ratings in it's first week. Will viewers come back to see what happens?
"American Idol" will be a must-watch show Tuesday evening because viewers will want to see if the judges mess up without the help of editing. Viewers may want to keep their eyes on Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey specifically to see what they have to say. Of course, viewers will also be watching to see if Zoanette Johnson can repeat her breathtaking performance from last week.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" is always one of the highest rated shows, but this week marks the return of Aunjanue Ellis as Sam's wife. Star Chris O'Donnell also will be directing tonight's show, so maybe fans will get to see a little more of his character.
Finally, CBS's "Golden Boy" is following up on the show's premier last week. The crime drama will supposedly spend a little more time developing the characters after the premiere's confusing opening.This also will be the last time the show is on Tuesday night, as it moves to Friday's March 8.
