Cory and Topanga officially have a son to complete the Matthews family on the new spinoff series "Girl Meets World".

TVLine announced yesterday that young actor Teo Halm has been cast as Elliot Matthews, Riley's older brother, in the pilot of the "Boy Meets World" sequel. Halm will join his new TV parents Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga), both secured in November, and his new sister Rowan Blanchard (Riley) who was cast as the "title character" back in late January. The upcoming Disney Channel production will begin filming later this month, according to Yahoo News.

The potential series, which picks up with the Matthews now full-grown adults and the parents of two children, follows the couple's young daughter "Riley" and the life lessons that she learns as "Girl Meets World", notes Yahoo. Contrary to the original ABC series that ended thirteen years ago, this story will be told from a young girl's point of view, specifically Cory Matthews' daughter's perspective.

Actress and new TV mom, Danielle Fishel, took to Twitter to celebrate the completion of the Mathhews family with the recent addition of Teo Halm.

"If having real life children is as hard as finding these two beauties (@rowblanchard & @teohalm) then I think I'm happy with being a TV mom... We worked so hard to find the perfect kids. We found them. I love them already. Get ready."

Other tweets from the newly joined cast include those from Blanchard and Halm, who MTV claims "have already stepped into their sibling rivalry with plenty of Riley/Elliot online banter." After Blanchard told her TV big bro to check himself in the mirror and get some much needed beauty rest, he ratted her out to Topanga. "@rowblanchard....@daniellefishel MOM SHES BEING MEAN!"

The comedy follow-up pilot is being produced by the same original Boy Meets World executive producer Michael Jacobs and will be directed by John Whitesell, who has worked on other family favorite shows of the past like Roseanne, Blossom, and the Cosby Show, notes THR.

"I'm hoping parents who grew up with the original Boy Meets World will put their children in front of this because they know what we're going to do," Jacobs said of the follow-up in an in-depth interview with THR. "The world is different today."

Hopefully the "Girl Meets World" pilot will be a success so that this new generation of youth get the opportunity to experience a little taste of what made growing up in the 90's totally fabulous.
