Kate Middleton recently hinted that she is pregnant with a baby girl, Us Weekly reports. The mom-to-be accicentally hinted that she'll be adding a daughter to the royal family during a visit to the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England on Tuesday, March 5.

The Dutchess slipped when she was given a white teddy bear by a local, Diane Burton. "Thank you, I'll take that for my d--" Prince William's bride replied, catching herself before completing her statement.

When a "well-wisher" asked the royal if she was about to say "daughter," Middleton smiled and replied coyly, "We're not telling," Us explains.

Another bystander allegedly heard Middleton say, "No, we don't know."

However, reportedly the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently did learn the sex of their baby, a source confirmed to Us Weekly, "but they've only told their parents."

According to Huffington Post, the baby's gender will most likely not be confirmed directly until its brought into the world in July because the British royal family's longstanding tradition is to conceal the sex of the baby until it is actually born. Upon the child's arrival, a note will be put on the gates of Buckingham Palace that announces the baby's birth, thus revealing the details publically to the world.

If Middleton's baby is indeed a girl, that's big news for the royal couple and even bigger news for the United Kingdom. Prince William's grandmother Queen Elizabeth II recently decreed that, "should William and Kate's firstborn be a daughter, she will be called "Princess," and referred to as Her Royal Highness. In addition, the Succession the Crown Bill, overruling centuries of royal gender discrimination, decrees that William and Kate's firstborn will be the heir to the throne regardless of gender," Us Weekly reveals.

Not only will this alleged "baby girl" be treated like royalty by her family, but this "Princess" is set to rule all of Britain one day. Fairytales really can come true...
