Trainwreck star Amy Schumer has been making a pretty big name for herself in recent months with her hilarious comedy act, as well as her at times raunchy humor both having helped her land a hit show on Comedy Central, Inside Amy Schumer, as well as a hit movie. However, while the star has been making a new for herself in Hollywood, it wasn't enough for her to be let into an upscale gym when she allegedly forgot her id.

According to Radar Online, the 34-year-old comedienne had tried to gain access to an Equinox gym on the Upper West Side of Manhattan earlier this week, but when she realized that she forgot her card, she allegedly threw a fit.

The star thought that the employees would recognize her from her movies and TV show, and that they would let her in without the identification card, however that was not the case.

Page Six is also reporting on the issues, saying that Schumer, "She felt entitled to just walk in. She didn't want to show her key fob and wanted to be able to go in and not be questioned."

The news site is also reporting that Schumer allegedly used the phrase that celebrities sometimes use that makes fans cringe, the whole, "I know you know who I am," thing, in order to help her case and for them to let her workout.

"She threw a massive fit," a bystander explained to the news site. "She screamed, 'I know you know who I am, I'm famous!'"

Because the employees wouldn't let her workout, the eyewitness says that Schumer had no other choice but to turn around and leave the facility.

"She stormed out. No joke!" an insider explained to In Touch Weekly.
