Did Cameron Diaz Insist Benji Madden List His Los Angeles Bachelor Pad For Sale?

Actress Cameron Diaz's husband emo-punk rocker, Benji Madden listed his 2,183-square foot bachelor pad for sale for $1,495 million, just months after saying 'I do' to Diaz. There are no wedding memories in this home, that we know about since their lavish Jewish wedding reception was outside of the brides home, in the backyard and under a tent where US Weekly reported that one hundred guests were served on Jan. 5th in Beverly Hills.

The rocker's Hollywood Hills home is a 1950's ranch, located in a secured gated community. The Good Charlotte guitarist paid $1.125 million in 2013 for the three bedrooms with three bathrooms. MStars News learned the musician has made several changes to the crib that may have added significant value to the property including updated plumbing, new bathrooms with "slab marble counter tops and snazzy brass fixtures and after knocking down a couple of walls, the outdated kitchen replaced with an entirely new one."

New cabinetry was put in the kitchen as well and the "snack bar peninsula counter" opens into the living/dining room area. The crib has vaulted ceilings, fireplaces and small decks, terraces and patios surrounding the abode which overlooks a brook, according to Variety.

Perhaps The Other Woman star is following her rock star husbands lead since she too, has reportedly put her pied-a-terre in Manhattan on the market for $4.5 million. She apparently is keeping another Manhattan apartment, as well as a Beverly Hills home that she unloaded from actress Candace Bergen. The couple plans to live in a home that they purchased earlier this year for $6.7 million. It was an off-the-market sale and conveniently down the street from Nicole Richie and brother, Joel Madden.

Now, with both his and her bachelor pads up for grabs, the couple can concentrate on the rumored reports that say they are trying to concieve, as MStars News previously addressed.
