Jennifer Aniston is now happily married to Justin Theroux, but is she still upset with Angelina Jolie for "stealing" her first hubby, Brad Pitt?

The couple's new film "By The Sea" (wrote and directed by Jolie) follows the tribulations of an "unhappily married couple whose relationship is falling apart."

Apparently, 46-year-old Aniston believes that the "Maleficent" beauty based this "tragic" love story on her own experience dealing with such heartbreak. An alleged insider tells the seedy gossip tabloid Life & Style:

"Jen feels like Angelina's script took dead aim at her. It's sparked a war between Jen and Brad."

Again.

The former "Friends" starlet is completely furious because she thinks that her divorce was the inspiration behind Jolie's actual character. Basically, the 40-year-old filmmaker is mocking Aniston's marriage failure. But the snitch insists that instead, Aniston's still "placing the blame squarely on Brad, [since] he must have betrayed intimate details of their marriage."

Right...

They ended things back in October 2005 - over ten years ago!

Such drama is clearly fabricated. As GossipCop.com reports:

"Jolie, whose own parents divorced when she was young, has said in many interviews while promoting By the Sea that the story is very personal to her. Additionally, Pitt played no part in the writing process, and didn't read the script until it was finished. The movie has absolutely zero connection to Aniston."

Still, another legit rep insists that this latest feud is "100 percent untrue." All three individuals have since moved on and are now content in their own relationships.

Oh, and Pitt isn't "embarrassed" with the movie's already lackluster ratings:

"Brad can't stop cringing. He feels humiliated. He never wanted to do this film, but Angie kept twisting his arm... [She's] let the fame go to her head" (via Star).

"By The Sea" hit select theaters earlier this month:
