Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has reacted to legendary pop singer David Bowie's comeback. Bowie released his single "Where Are We Now?" and his new album "The Next Day" is set for a March 11 release.

When NME asked the former Oasis guitarist what he thinks about Bowie and his comeback album.  He said, It's great to hear his voice singing something new. The more you hear 'Where Are We Now?' the better it gets. The video's mad - like his fucking cat directed it."

Gallagher said that he realised that former stars cannot rely on their past glories for their new albums and acts.

He also voiced his opinion on the new material that Bowie was coming up with. He also said "What it proved to me is that reunions are fucking shite," NME reported.

"If you had turned on the news and it had said, 'David Bowie is to do a fucking series of concerts next year,' everyone would have gone, 'Oh great, can't wait, that's it, let's talk about something else.' But we're still talking about that song. New music and records rule, but reunions for gigs are shit, you know."

Bowie worked with his long-time producer Visconti on this album and had kept it a secret for years. The album has already received positive reviews on their pre-release reviews.

The Guardian gave the album four stars and said the album was "thought-provoking, strange and filled with great songs.
