Singer Lady Gaga though was scheduled to perform a gig in Indonesia, it was cancelled after threats increased.

Gaga was to perform at the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta but the concert was cancelled in May, 2012. The concert had to be cancelled after the Islamic groups in the country opposed her saying that the singer's style was "vulgar" and various threats were made to stop the concert in case it takes place.

Hollywood Reporter has reported that the concert promoters, Live Nation LGTours, Mermaid Touring and the Atom Factory have filed a lawsuit against the insurer of the event, Lloyds Of London.

The promoters have accused the insurers of breaching the contract on "Terrorism Policy" that says that people affected with loss must be paid in the events of loss die to "sole and direct result of Terrorism and/or Sabotage or Threat".

The promoters have asked for at least $75,000 to make up for the losses that they suffered due to cancellation. They have accused Lloyds Of London of "despicable conduct that subjected Plaintiffs to cruel and unjust hardship in conscious disregard of the Plaintiffs rights... with the intent to vex, injure or annoy the Plaintiffs, such as to constitute oppression, fraud or malic," NME reported.

It was earlier reported that Gaga might be losing millions after she had to cancel her tour dates of her Born This Way Ball tour. She will be undergoing surgery to her hip.
