Pharrell Williams NOT Beat, No Jay-Z Fight: Wife Helen Lasichanh Kitchen Accident Black Eye

Pharrell Williams was NOT punched in the face by rapper Jay-Z. Oh - and the "Blurred Lines" crooner was NOT attacked by longtime partner Helen Lasichanh, either!

Earlier this week, the R&B superstar was spotted with a pretty gnarly black eye:

Pharrell never explained how he got the nasty bruise, but the seedy gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com sure did...

Apparently fellow hip-hop mogul Jay-Z attacked the "Happy" singer during a private business meeting in Los Angeles. And why did he lash out so violently?

Because Pharrell denied a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to partner with Tidal. And it totally ruined the "Run This Town" emcee's initial plans for the exclusive music streaming website:

"[Jay] took it as a slap in the face for Pharrell to do that. Especially since Pharrell was one of the main people who came up with the idea for [Tidal]," an alleged insider explained. "Jay definitely wanted to see Pharrell, and have a face to face. I don't know if Jay still is about that street life... but Pharrell had a black eye last night [Wednesday, November 18]."

Yes, Pharrell does now have a noticeable facial injury - obviously:

But turns out it's not because he was blindsided by Beyonce's hubby.

Pharrell was actually messing around in the kitchen with his stunning model/designer wife (Lasichanh). Things got a little crazy, and he ended up getting smacked in the face with a spatula (via TMZ).

Pretty entertaining scene, right? And despite the minor injury, such domestic "quality time" sounds cute!

Some fans initially joked that Pharrell was probably "beaten" by Lasichanh, which isn't really funny to even joke about.

The GIRL singer didn't even acknowledge such ridiculous "beef" drama. He's probably laughing about the fabricated gossip with Jay right now.

Pharrell tied the knot with Lasichanh in October 2013. They share one young son together, and are HAPPILY married!
