Khloe Kardashian: Staph is "No Joke" After Contracting Infection From Lamar Odom

It looks like Khloe Kardashian is still fighting off her staph infection after contracting the bacterial disease from her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, as he recovers in the hospital. Over the weekend, Kardashian revealed that her illness was "no joke."

According to Yahoo, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is still under the weather but is starting to feel better while dealing with her sickness and following doctors orders to get some rest at home. The 31-year-old took to Twitter to update everyone on her condition and said:

"Staph infection is no joke. Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I'm under great medical care & receiving tons of love!"

She also added another tweet encouraging her fans and followers to stay healthy and to be kind to each other.

Kardashian has been working out lately and taking care of her body, and told her fans to also pay close attention to their own bodies.

Kardashian added another tweet thanking everyone for their continued prayers and support. She promised everyone that she would be back on her feet soon.

MStars News previously reported that Kardashian had to cancel her book tour and signing due to her infection. Odom's estranged wife was diagnosed with a staph infection after noticing lumps on her lower body. The infection became worse as Kardashian's stress level increased. Right now the reality star is at home getting some much needed rest.
