Demi Moore is finally ready to put her 6 year marriage with hubby Ashton Kutcher behind her, as she filed her own divorce papers today in a move to go forward with the case, reports Us Weekly.

The 51-year-old actress submitted the papers more than a year after her and Ashton Kutcher announced their separation in 2011 and three months after her ex filed his. He took care of his papers back in December, eagerly wanting to move on with his new girlfriend and previous co-star in "That 70's Show" Mila Kunis.

"After over a year of attempting to reach a settlement, Demi is definitely ready to move on," a source told Page Six. "It's hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring, otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial."

Kutcher's relationship with Kunis, along with difficult, even "hostile" negotiations over the money he has made as the highest-paid actor on TV in "Two and a Half Men" has prevented the two parties from coming to a settlement, explains UPI. Moore previously said she wanted to settle the divorce via confidential agreements, but the New York Post reports that the actress is tired of being unable to reach a settlement.

"Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi -- a lot more than she made -- but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn't owe her that much," the source told the Post. Moore "has had enough," the source added.

Kutcher's leading role on the sitcom, previously held by Charlie Sheen, net the actor $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012. The last payday publicly reported for Moore was $2 million for 2003's "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," according to IMDB.

Kutcher and Moore split back in November 2011 following rumors that Kutcher had an affair with a 22-year-old on the night of his and Moore's six-year anniversary, says Huffington Post.

Moore is on the mend following a dramatic public meltdown in 2012, causing her to briefly enter rehab. "She is healthy and happy, and just wants to move on with her life," a source tells US Weekly.

So it's in with the new (beautiful young Mila) and out with the old ("GI Jane" Demi) for Ashton Kutcher.
