Taylor Swift is kissing her relationship with Harry Styles goodbye and welcoming her new songwriting love Ed Sheeran. The new couple has gotten so close that Swift has invited Sheeran to open up for her Red tour.

According to People magazine, Swift could have saved herself a heart break from Styles if she would have chosen Sheeran a source says,  "They spent some time together before and after she dated Harry Styles. Around Grammy time, things went beyond just friends." E! News reported the couple were so close to each other and "briefly dated last spring. He thinks she is really cute and they have a great chemistry together," a source said.

According to Vanity Fair, Swift allowed an unnamed source to dish about her persona life with Harry Styles and said, he "chased" Swift for a year and "wore her down" forcing her to date him. The couple ended things after Styles was caught making out with another woman, but "pursued her for the better part of a year until she finally took him back," the source said.

Could Swift finally settle down and make love songs with her new boyfriend? The singer may no longer be the butt of every joke. When Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made fun of her love life at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, Swift slammed them for their "sexiest" joke. The 23-year-old star told the magazine, "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women." She added, "For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated - a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way - that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist," Swift said.
