The 89th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Route, Balloons, Lineup Online Live Streaming Day Parade

The season has arrived as the 89th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade brings in the holiday festivities. Check out the route, balloons, and lineup from the FREE online live streaming event here, here, and here.

According to the official NBC site,  the 89th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will march down the streets of New York. After sitting down with Charlie Sheen for an exclusive announcement, Matt Lauer lightens things up with Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker of NBC's the TODAY Show to anchor the broadcast.

Stars of film, television, stage, sports and music will provide the nation with must-see performances. Joining the festivities are Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Mariah Carey, Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson, Cirque du Soleil, Daughtry, Andra Day, Andy Grammer, Sandra Lee, Shawn Mendes, MercyMe, Mipso, Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell, Jennifer Nettles, NHL legends Mark and Marty Howe, Jake Owen, Panic! at the Disco, Plain White T's, Rachel Platten. Seen on the Jimmy Fallon late night show, Questlove joins the cast and the Muppets of Sesame Street, alongside Prince Royce, the cast of Broadway's School of Rock, Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks.

The Radio City Rockettes will kick off the festivities and showcase theatrical productions from Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland, The King & I, On Your Feet! and Something Rotten. In addition,catch sneak preview performance from NBC's The Wiz Live!, before the official premiere on Thursday, December 3 at 8 pm.

As reported by CNN, the history of the balloons in the parade starts with its first 1927 outing. Felix the Cat has been there since the beginning. Mickey Mouse then joined in 1934, which was also the same year that featured a balloon based on entertainer Eddie Cantor. Peanuts characters, especially Charlie Brown's favorite dog, Snoopy, made his first appearance in 1968 -- are regular visitors.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be on Thursday, November 26 (starting from 9 am till noon in all time zones).
