Slash Records Theme Song For Updated ‘Angry Birds Space’ Video Game

Former Guns N' Roses member and guitarist Slash is not new to the world of gaming and he has recorded the theme for the updated popular game "Angry Birds Space."

Slash posted on his Facebook page that the legendary guitarist "Check out the new #SlashBird that @AngryBirds made and be sure to do the #AngryBirdsSpace update today. #slashnews."

Slash also gets an "Angry Birds" themed character replete with his trademark black hat, curly black hair and Gibson Les Paul guitar.

The guitarist has already made his appearance in animated "Bad Rain" video and "Phineas & Ferb" animated film and music video. He is also a playable character in video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, released in 2007.

Fans need to updated or download to the update to the latest version of "Angry Birds Space" game in order to check the guitarist's theme. "The music plays over the game's opening screens and an image of the 'Angry Birds' version of Slash pops up on the screen, with the option to buy his music online," Loudwire reported.

Last year, "Angry Birds Friends" released Green Day- themed characters.  

Slash left Guns N' Roses after differences with Axl Rose in 1996, he later formed band called Snakepit. He later formed the band Velvet Revolver with former Guns N' Roses members.

He went solo in 2008 releasing an album title, "Slash" in 2010 and "Apocalyptic Love" in 2012. He also released his autobiography "Slash" Oct. 30, 2007. He is also known to have designed famous circular GN'R logo.
