'Gotham' Season 2 Spoilers: Twitter Reacts Ben McKenzie/Jim Gordon, Robin Lord Taylor/Penguin!

Season 2 of the Batman prequel series, Gotham, aired its winter finale on Fox. During last night's Episode 11, Twitter had lots to say about the shocking twist between Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie).

In our previous recap, mourning over their fallen officer, Jim and Bullock (Donal Logue) went after the Order of St. Dumas. After faking his kidnapping, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) got the name of his parent's killer from Silver St. Cloud (Natalie Alyn Lind). After Theo (James Frain) fooled the court system, both Jim and Bruce were in peril. Alfred ended up getting a knife to his back after fighting with Tigress.

In our recent recap, it was a massive shootout between the Order of St. Dumas and a room full of police officers. With Bruce back with Alfred, Jim and Penguin took Theo (James Frain) to the docks. After Penguin beat Theo senseless, Jim took out his gun and pulled the trigger. To get revenge for his mother, Penguin drove an umbrella through Theo's mouth.

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Bruno Heller reveals if Jim has actually crossed the line, "Yeah, there was a lot of debate, right up and down the ladder. But that's kind of what Gotham is all about, those kind of moral quandaries that someone like Gordon is put into - no bad deed goes unpunished any more than any good deed goes unpunished. The important thing about what he just did there is that there will be consequences. Serious consequences."
