Tom Jones appeared on Tuesday night's episode of CONAN to discuss his latest album, Long Lost Suitcase, and while he was sitting panel he may or may not have admitted to murdering a guy back in the day.

Note: he didn't actually kill a guy, people.

Anyway, host Conan O'Brien brought up the subject of how difficult it was on the street when Jones was growing up in South Wales. "It is tough, and you got into a lot of fights, and I mean real fights," O'Brien said. Jones then recounted a story about a drunken bar brawl between he and another man, which left the latter in a gutter.

"I think alcohol had a lot to do with it," Jones said. "We used to drink a lot of beer."

One night, Jones noticed a "big fella" leaning on home while paying the check. The two met up outside and ultimately "got into it" and "left him laying in the gutter."

And while the crowd cheered Jones', apparently "not unusual" (get it???), bar fighting abilities, they seemed rather shocked once the singer noted that he picked up a paper the following morning at work only to realize that the front page headline read: Man Found Dead in Gutter.

"But it wasn't him, thank God."

So, did Tom Jones kill a dude after a night of drinking? Nope, but what a story!

Jones' murderous segment was followed by Scream Queens star Oliver Hudson, who talked about getting a "brozilian" wax. Oh yeah, and Tom Jones admitted to shaving his pubic hair with an electric razer.

So, there's that.

The bare-down-there singer's new album, Long Lost Suitcase, drops this coming Dec. 4. Tune in for more CONAN on TBS Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m.
