Brooke Lopez and Robin Lopez are Twins--a unique thing in its own right. They're also Twins who both play in the NBA--even more unique. But the most unique aspect of it all is that they both play on teams based in New York, with the Nets and Knicks. And, like a lot of twins, they're close. So naturally the idea of living together is something they'd like to entertain. However, it's something they simply cannot do--for one very simple reason: their cats.

"Brooke's cat is very two-faced," Robin told the New York Post. "Everybody loves Brook's cat. To everybody's face, he's such a nice cat. And it may sound like I'm joking, but I am dead serious. He acts like a lazy, sweet cat when everybody is looking. But when their heads turn, he'll try to chase after [my cat] Edward. The second I lay eyes on him, he'll act like, 'I'm a cherub. I'm innocent.' I'm not buying it."

This summer, the Knicks signed Robin from the Portland Trail Blazers for a four-year deal worth $54 million--a decision that came just days after brother, Brook, agreed to stay with the Nets for a reported $60 million over three years. Shortly after the deals were completed, the duo entertained the idea of living together at Brook's place.

"It might be permissible for him to live in my residence," Brook said, via the New York Post. "I am thinking sublet--maybe the basement, or a little cupboard under the stairs a la Harry Potter."

Ultimately, though, the cats had the final say:

"We thought about it," Brook told the Post. "But the cats really wouldn't get along. They just wouldn't allow it."
