Ranveer Singh is back with yet another dance number. This time, Singh is going to get all the applause for his amazing dance in the victory song "Malhari" from his upcoming period drama film, Bajirao Mastani.

The music is composed by the film's director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and the lyrics are penned by Prashant Ingole. The Hindi words are perfectly infused with Maharastrian words to give the song a real touch. Though the track seems a little weaker compared to the rest of the singles from the album, Singh's energy and Vishal Dadlani's towering voice makes it perfect.

The cinematography and choreography is done in the way a warrior would have danced back in 1720s. The most impressive thing about the song is the way Singh has altered his previous dance style to suit the character of a Maratha warrior like Bajirao I. When one sees Singh dancing in "Malhari" one can easily say that the actor is not dancing for the camera – he is actually enjoying himself!

In an interview with NDTV Movies, Singh reportedly said that when he heard the song for the first time, all he wanted to do was to shoot the victory song.

"There is nothing called 'give up' in my dictionary. I would continue to work even when I would be dying. I don't know where I get the energy from. I remember, Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir was in the sound room when he first made me hear the song Malhari (victory song). I was excited and I was jumping in the studio and couldn't wait to shoot the song," Ranveer added.

In May 2015, Indian Express reported that Bajirao Mastani will be delayed because of Singh's shoulder injury. Talking about his injury and its connection with the song, the actor said that the team had to shot the video at the end.

"The Malhari song was supposed to feature midway in the film. But I injured my shoulder, and the song was shot in the end. There were fantastic vibes on the sets."

Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani will also feature Singh's rumored girlfriend Deepika Padukone and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra. The film is slated to release on Dec. 18, 2015.
