Over the weekend, all everyone was buzzing about was how music legend and infamous "queen of shade," Erykah Badu, threw Iggy Azalea completely under the bus at the Soul Train Awards. After putting Twitter in a frenzy, Badu got the attention of Azalea – so much so that she decided to clap back and defend herself!

It is no surprise that Badu had something to say when it comes to Azalea's rapping skills. Let's be honest, we have never seen a rap artist receive so much backlash from entertainers and the public about their "talent."

We haven't heard much from Azalea since she revealed her engagement to Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young, performed at the 2015 MTV Music Awards and canceled a tour earlier this year. Badu's comments gave Azalea haters more ammunition, and another excuse, to throw digs at the rapper.

Determined to defend her good name and controversial career, Azalea took to Twitter to defend her accomplishments.

After receiving accolades from Forbes and Billboard in 2014 as well as her rise on the charts, her success has not sit well with many people. Entertainers from J.Cole, all the way to Nicki Minaj, have had a lot to say when it comes to the Australian rapper. Characterized as only getting ahead in the business because of white privilege, Azalea's career has been a hot topic for quite some time.

While Badu has yet to respond, we don't think Azalea realizes what she's in for. Not only does Badu have Twitter on her side, Azalea is not so great at comebacks. Anyone who has a Twitter handle knows that it gets real and things can go south in a matter of seconds.

What do you guys think? Was Iggy Azalea right to even acknowledge Erykah Badu's dig at her? Do you think she should have left well enough alone? Let us know down below!
