Bobby Shmurda's Bail Request Denied for the Sixth Time: Awaits Trial in Jail

It's been almost a year and Bobby Shmurda still can't seem to catch a break. The Brooklyn bred rapper's bid for another bail request was denied again. The rapper will have to await trial behind bars.

According to TMZ, the plan was to get Shmurda aka Ackquille Jean Pollard bonded out of jail for $2 million. The "Computers" rapper appeared in an NYC court early Thursday in hopes of being released, but Judge James Burke rejected the bail offer.

The rapper has been in jail for almost a year now for the charge of conspiracy to commit murder. As he was walking into the courtroom he saw four family members and mouthed, "I love you guys."

Billboard also reported that his lawyers put together a solid plan, which included his aunt Janelle DeFreitas putting up property as collateral to meet the $2 million bond.

The 21-year-old's legal issues started with a Dec. 2014 arrest, where he and his fellow GS9 gang members were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and drug and gun possession.

As you can imagine, the rapper appeared to be in low spirits as his dreams of leaving jail were shattered yet again. The way things are looking, Shmurda is not getting out of jail anytime soon. Perhaps this is what happens when you are really about that life.

The rapper's next court date is scheduled for Jan. 11, 2016.

As of late it seems as if the court system is trying to make an example out of celebrities in relation to criminal activity. We hope and pray that Shmurda is released as soon as possible so we can get more music.

Shmurda is currently facing a sentence of 8 to 25 years.
