The Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone is gaining more hype as the highly anticipated launch event is fast approaching on March 14, 2013. The release date will most likely be announced at the event in Radio City Music Hall. Targeting the U.S. audience starting with the Big Apple, Samsung seems to be suggesting that it may open up a potential retail shop in Times Square to allow users to “experience Samsung’s new flagship smartphone at Times Square,” reported Gottabemobile.com. Huge ads spread across a large retail location and billboards at the heart of New York City.
With messages like “Meet The Next Galaxy @ Times Square, NY” and "you don’t want to miss being among the first in the world to get a glimpse of The Next GALAXY,” it is not hard to believe that fans will get to lay their hands on the smart phone in Times Square.
You won't want to miss the special event on March where Samsung will release all the details about the Galaxy S4. According to rumors throughout the web, the new phone will boast of a faster processor, the latest Google software, better screen and camera. New York Times even reported that the phone may even have a new technology that follows the user's eyes in order to command actions like the scrolling down of the screen. However, one thing that may remain the same is the usage of plastic instead of metal, reports suggested.
The coming months are exciting for technology lovers. Many great phone options will be competing against each other with improved technology.
In an ad for the S3 model, Samsung mocked the iPhone. As previously reported, "The newspaper advertisement campaign featured "It doesn't take a genius" in bold with an image of a white-colored Galaxy 3S almost butting heads with a black-colored iPhone 5 covered partly in the shadows. Their features were listed side by side with more listed in favor of the Galaxy S3." Will Samsung S4 be able to surpass iPhone sales and other popular smartphones with this new model?
Let's wait and see!
