'RHOC' Vicki Gunvalson Desperate to Get Ex-Husband Donn Back After Brooks Cancer Lie?

Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is desperate to get back together with her ex-husband Donn Gunvalson, but it looks she is out of luck. With the Bravo star's horrible breakup with Brooks Ayers after he admitted to forging medical records in a cancer lie that has shocked reality TV, she was looking for a reunion with Donn.

"Vicki and Donn are in a very good place now which is great because he is still very close to his step-kids [Briana and Michael]," a source told Radar Online. "But Donn would never consider a reconciliation because he is happily living a very quiet life on the Colorado River, and wants nothing to do with Orange County or the show. Donn rode happily off into the sunset and he has even been dating."

"Vicki does indeed regret divorcing Donn... She now realizes what a great honest, hardworking husband he was to her," the source went on.

The former reality couple spent Thanksgiving together, which was a welcome distraction from all of the drama going on in Vicki's life. The successful businesswoman is trying to put her relationship with Brooks behind her now so she can find a partner to share her life with.

"Vicki has a new level of appreciation for Donn, but she is just trying to land on her feet again," the source said. "She is someone that needs to be in a relationship. Briana just wants her to take her time and find the right guy this time, and not settle."

As MStars News has reported, Gunvalson recently opened up to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about reconciling with Donn after their bitter divorce.

"I think if I had to do it all over again, I would not have divorced Donn," she said. "I know that for a fact. In hindsight, if we could do things differently... He was a great man [and] great husband."
