'DWTS' Season 16 Maksim Chmerkovskiy Proposed Peta Murgatroyd, Saying "I'm In Love With You!"

Congratulations are in order for Dancing With The Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd since the dancing pros are now engaged!  Maksim proposed to Peta on Saturday at the Olympic Theater in front of an audience and dancers, during a Sway: A Dance Trilogy performance. On a bended knee, the 35-year old DWTS alumni told his now fiance, "I'm in love with you, and I will be in love with you for the rest of my life." He added, "And if you'll have me, I want you to be part of mine."

Emotionally, Peta exclaimed "Yes" and shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the two confirming the proposal saying, "You have my heart forever my love. Love always wins @maksimc."

Chmerkovskiy's brother Valentin took to Instagram and wrote, "I love the two of you with all my heart. You have my brothers loyalty, heart. It is one and only for the rest of his life. You're family now and that makes you my sister, the second most important woman in my life. What's mine is yours. Forever and always. Petachka your team got numbers now #trapqueenfolife #famovereverything @petamurgatroyd @maksimc," reported International Business Times.

According to Hollywood Take, the couple started dating in 2012 while they were co-stars on DWTS. Two weeks before Valentine's Day and just one year after later, the duo split. The media outlet speculates that the breakup was brought on by Maksim and that Peta was heartbroken. They rekindled their relationship earlier this year in January and have been spotted out together since. The ballroom hunk has been linked to former co-star Meryl Davis and even Jennifer Lopez; yet he has never confirmed any of those rumors.
