On Sunday evening, President Barack Obama addressed the nation on the recent shootings in San Bernardino; he also discussed the state of terrorism in the United States. Naturally, during his speech, GOP candidate Donald Trump was tweeting about it the whole time, and he had some questions for the POTUS – specifically as the President asked for American's not to discriminate against Muslims, saying they are "our friends and our neighbors, our co-workers, our sports heroes."

To that, Trump appeared unsure of what sports heroes he was talking about and decided to throw his opinion into a nonsensical tweet. Why? Well, because he had 140 characters and he needed to fill it with something, we're assuming.

For the record, there's actually quite a few.

Anyway, Twitter immediately took notice of the tweet and, like rapid fire, came back with lists of famous Muslim athletes, many of whom the Republican front runner has met in the past – specifically Muhammad Ali.

In fact, Gawker reports that Trump was the recipient of the Muhammad Ali Award back in 2007.

Lists aside, other Twitter users took the time to merely scold Trump for his comments.
