After working with Salman Khan in Jai Ho, Daisy Shah's film career failed to take off. The actress was so disappointed with the dearth in offers, that she shed away her ethnic ways of acting and signed onto the sexual erotic Hate Story 3.

Shah is being lauded for her role as a hot secretary in Hate Story 3, but the actress said that she would not have signed onto Hate Story franchise if she had received good offers after working with the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star in Jai Ho.

"If I had got good offers after Jai Ho I wouldn't have done Hate Story 3. I did not get good offers and I was disappointed, but it also gave me a push to work harder on myself," Shah said.

According to Indian Express, Shah now feels that it was a right decision to get out of her comfort zone and try something different on screen.

"But now I feel it was the right decision to do Hate Story 3 as it's good for an actor to discover new roles and new characters. Now, I feel even if I would have got good offers after Jai Ho I still would have done this film," Shah further added.

The 31-year-old Shah even thinks that showing intimacy in Indian films is a necessary thing. Talking to IANS, as reported by NDTV Movies, Shah said that when people come to theaters they want to be entertained as they pay a lot of money.

"So they need that bold content. Hate Story 3 has a good story and bold content, so it's like icing on the cake," she added.
