E! 'The Royals' S02E05 "The Spirit That I Have Seen" Elizabeth Hurley, Alexandra Park Recap

E! continues Season 2 of The Royals. In Episode 5, are Queen Helena Henstridge (Elizabeth Hurley) and Princess Eleanor Henstridge (Alexandra Park) ready for The Spirit That I Have Seen?

While Liam (William Moseley) looks over the wreckage of his father's memorial, Cyrus (Jake Maskall) see something that frightens him. Cyrus fires and rehires the maid, Violet, making sure she takes care of him. Helen's message for Captain Lacey is brought back to her by her servant Lucius. Eleanor and Mandy/Samantha are in bed together, texting on their cells. 

Jasper (Tom Austen) wants to meet with Mandy/Samantha and gives her a destination. Liam has just struck a dead-end with his father's murder as Helena visits the Head of Security. Knowing it was Cyrus who trashed the memorial, Helena asks him to find Captain Lacey as a personal favor. She knows Lacey is hiding something and wants to find out what.

Cyrus has a secret meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, who covered up his  drunken crash. Haunted by his brother, Cyrus has to make sure Helena doesn't discover about Lacey. Jasper and Mandy/Samantha argue over Eleanor but she doesn't want to leave her.

While Eleanor has brunch with her new love, she reminisces about her time with Jasper. Helena yells at Eleanor as she gets caught being photographed kissing another girl. The Duchess (Joan Collins) arrives as mother and daughter argue, with Liam dropping the news about their uncle. Hill gets suspicious that Jasper doesn't want him to look into Mandy/Samantha.

Cyrus starts to yell at the ghost of his dead brother, blaming him for his screw-ups. He then wants to setup a meeting with the cartoonist who poked fun at him. At the party, Liam ends up talking with someone new as Cyrus jokes around with the cartoonist. Helena takes on the Deputy Prime Minister in another round as gets distracted by Eleanor's female date. 

During the ceremony, Cyrus has the cartoonist arrested. He tells his dead brother that the people will fear him; it's his time. The Deputy Prime Minister makes a play at Liam, who refuses to be a pawn in her game. Liam continues his flirtation with his new love interest as they have a long walk.

After Helena realizes there was a cover-up at Lacey's cottage, she confronts Lucius on his lies. As soon as she slaps him, Lucius reveals that Lacey is dead. Helena is in tears as she has Lucius arrested. Liam contemplates his future as he ponders about walking way from the monarchy. 

Eleanor gets a gift from the Duchess and a major lesson. If she's going to make a stance, do it for the right reasons. Knowing he is a murderer, Lucius takes the fall and admits to killing King Simon. Helena though doesn't believe his confession but accepts she has to continue with the lies. 

Cyrus gets message from beyond the grave; we all pay for our sins. Eleanor admits to Mandy/Samantha that she used her to get back at her mother. Jasper learns that Mandy/Samantha plans on stealing the jewels during  Eleanor's birthday party.
