It looks like Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne could be getting some company in the highly awaited 'Batman' standalone film! According to Latino-Review, Will Smith might have enjoyed playing the sharp-shooting antihero Deadshot in 'Suicide Squad.' The David Ayers film featuring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Academy Award winner Jared Leto as The Joker features a motley crue of DC villains who end up working for the government and is one of the hotly anticipated blockbusters of 2016.

Working on 'Suicide Squad' must have been a blast for Will Smith. It looks like the 'Concussion' star enjoyed it enough to reportedly sign a contract for multiple appearances with Warner Bros. and DC, and is eager to reprise his role as Floyd Lawton in the studio's future projects.

Latino-Review reports that Will Smith wants to be a part of the standalone 'Batman' film, which will reportedly directed by Ben Affleck.

So it is possible for Will Smith's Deadshot to make an appearance in the Batman solo movie?

Warner Bros. may be considering the possibility of bringing in more star power to the Batman film while keeping in line with the Caped Crusader's DC canon. Deadshot and the Dark Knight have previously worked together in the comic book 'Batman: Arkham Knight' and the story arc for Bruce Wayne's standalone movie could follow the comics to give Will Smith a bigger role to chew on.

If the 'Pursuit of Happyness' star does land a major role in the Batman standalone film, it won't be the first time that he has worked on a film with Ben Affleck. The 'Argo' director has previously been spotted on the Vancouver set of 'Suicide Squad,' where he will reportedly make an appearance as Bruce Wayne/Batman. There have even been photos of a stuntman in a Batman costume filming a scene with Jared Leto and Margot Robbie.

'Suicide Squad' will hit theaters on August 5, 2016 while the 'Batman' solo film is scheduled for release in 2018.
