Lady Gaga and Boyfriend Taylor Kinney Getting Married this Summer? Wedding Rumors Swirl, Mother Monster Rocks Gold Wheelchair after Hip Surgery [PHOTO]

Lady Gaga's relationship with actor/model Taylor Kinney is better than ever - so of course that means it's about time the marriage rumors start popping up! Mother Monster's alleged close pal Lady Starlight recently confirmed to U.K.'s The Sun that the duo is set to wed sometime this summer. But Little Monsters shouldn't get too excited - other insider sources insist that such rumors just aren't true. While the marriage gossip swirls, Gaga continues to recuperate from her recent hip surgery. And what better way to do that than in a custom-made, 24-karat gold plated wheelchair? Whether she plans on walking down the aisle soon or not, the "Just Dance" songstress sure knows how to capture the media's attention in the most unique and bizarre ways!

According to a recent seedy report in The Sun, Gaga and her "Chicago Fire" beau are currently "talking about taking their relationship to the next level when their schedules are clear." The songstress' gal pal DJ Lady Starlight (whom Gaga collaborated with once) goes on to explain, "She's told me he's the one and you know that instantly when you see them together... From all I've heard, I don't think I'm dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year. There's a summer period when his shooting schedule will be clear and her concert and studio commitments will be minimal, so expect an announcement some time soon."

Sounds a little too vague to be trustworthy... Gossip Cop double-checked with another reputable Gaga insider, who insists that it's completely "untrue" that Mother Monster and Kinney are set to wed anytime in the near future. At this point, it's hard to determine what to believe... just this past fall, several reports claimed that the couple was aiming for an "intimate Italian wedding"... well, that never happened:

Gaga isn't one to shy away from the public... if she were really engaged, surly Little Monsters would be the first to know about it. And there's little chance that Gaga would want to hide her flashy engagement ring.

Gaga has decided to recover from surgery in style, with a custom-made, 24-karat gold plated wheelchair. The "You and I" superstar contacted Ken Borochov of Mordekai to help design her new trendy ride. Borochov told the New York Post, "I certainly wasn't expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen."

The golden wheelchair throne also features leather seats and can fully recline for all-out comfort.
