According to The Shade Room, via Page Six, the "Partition" singer is very serious about acting. Queen Bey has been in and out of acting classes and is focused on giving her all to the role. If you remember the singer and her hubby music mogul Jay-Z were setting their sites on the West Coast so that she can focus more on her acting.

"A Star Is Born" originally was released in the 1930s and was remade in the 50s and 70s. The singer will be playing the role of an aspiring actress who moves to Hollywood to start her career and is mentored by a star through the ups and downs of the entertainment industry.

The 34-year-old is no stranger when it comes to the acting world. She made her acting debut back in 2001 with a starring role in MTV's Carmen: a Hip Hopera. She then co-starred with Michael Myers in the Austin Powers franchise Goldmember in 2002. In 2006, Queen Bey starred with Jennifer Hudson in Oscar winning Dream Girls. The beauty then went on in 2008 to star as the R&B legend Etta James in the hit movie Cadillac Records.

Her last acting role was in Obsessed were she co-starred with Idris Elba.

The film is only in its early stages with casting directors currently filling roles. Filming is expected to start in early 2017. We all know Queen Bey puts her all into everything that she does so this film is going to be amazing.
