VH1's Mob Wives star, Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, received bad news regarding her health.  Doctors reportedly discovered that her throat cancer has returned, allegedly spreading into other parts of her body, since surgery earlier this year, a source revealed to TMZ.

In March, Big Ang was diagnosed with the disease and had aggressive treatment. Once her lymph notes were removed, the reality star was told by doctors that she was cancer free.

"The good news--Ang is a fighter and will go back to the doctor this week for a plan of action. She vowed she would beat it once, and she'll beat it again," says the the website.

So far, we have been unable to confirm reports. And no comments have been made by the niece of mobster, Salvatore "Sally Dogs" Lombardi  But according to two twitter accounts in her name, the latest post for @bigangofficial says, "Season 6 of #Mobwives return Jan. 13th @ 8/7c. only on VH1!!, but the verfied accounts @biggangvh1 shows it's last post was on Dec. 9 saying, "Love you back" to presummably a fan.

Perhaps the reality star is laying low since getting the health news, but fans and the media are sending their love and support.

The Daily Mail reported that the 55-year old is going to fight the disease and says Ang is "apparently headed back to the doctor next week for a plan of action," and that she is "putting on a brave face" since the news. She has certainly been staying busy, hitting several red carpets, posting a decorated Christmas tree on Instagram.

And perhaps with the support of her family and fans, the breakout star of Mob Wives can fight this and be back to good health in no time. After wrapping up Couples Therapy with husband Neil Murphy, the Drunken Monkey bar owner will be promoting the last season of Mob Wives:The Last Stand, as previously reported by MStars News. The premiere for season 6 airs Jan. 13th, which will be the last for the show since VH1 cancelled the series.
